We can use Rose medicine for healing ourselves and the Earth. Rose is a master of the Heart, and a powerful protector, enforcing our boundaries while allowing us to flow further into our feminine power. Healing the mother line, the sister wound and the wounds of the feminine lines are central to her medicine. Rose in and of herself is a great Inititiatrix and through her we can connect with the mysteries of the divine feminine, and the many faces of the Goddess.

The Rose has long been recognised as the Western equivalent of the Eastern Lotus as a symbol of the unfolding of higher consciousness.

Rose codes

The field of consciousness of the Rose creates a morphogenetic resonance, or field, which wraps around the planet, and within this morphogenetic field exists all the knowledge and wisdom of the Rose and her medicine.

This morphogenetic resonance field is an invisible energy grid that communicates specific information across time and space.

“Natural systems inherit a collective memory from all previous things of their kind, however faraway they were and however long ago they existed.” (Sheldrake, 1988). This implies that these fields of information exists for us to tap into and receive wisdom from.

When we work with a plant ally, we are opening ourselves up to tap into this field of memory, and also to fuse the energies of this plant into our own auric bodies.

We are also receiving the healing potential of its compounds, as well as tuning into the cosmological resonance of the associated planet, which is Venus in this case.

The Rose network is one of the largest flower root systems on Earth, with the Rose found in every country on the planet. The abundance of the Rose reflects her desire to be seen, to be an ally, and to be embraced as a medicine. The complexity of her geographical lineage implies her vast influence. Her spiritual, ritual and healing history alongside her role within the mystery traditions allows us to glimpse the potential of her as a living library of esoteric wisdom.

The Rose is an ascension codex for our evolution.

How to work with Rose medicine

Plants, and Nature, contains wisdom.

Unlike us humans, and we ARE nature too, plants haven’t forgotten their wisdom, and so by consciously working with a plant we activate our own innate wisdom within.

A plant dieta is as simple as:

Ingestion – drinking Rose tea for instance.

Sensory – touching, smelling, having roses in your home/workspace, rose body oil, rose baths.

Other/more ways – meditations with Rose, creativity and art, just being with the plant and having awareness into her messages, sitting under a rose bush and listening…

In my work with the Rose I share Rose transmission meditations for each aspect and tone of the Rose.

How Rose medicine heals us

The Rose brings healing on our emotional, mental, spiritual and physical bodies.

Emotional Body:

On the emotional body the Rose brings a sense and resonance of love in all its forms and supports our emotions to be held in the fullness of what we are feeling.

This attunes us to the vibration of compassion and self-acceptance. It helps us to slow down and receive the medicine of nature, and recalibrate ourselves back to trust.

Mental Body:

On the level of the mental body the Rose alchemises limiting beliefs around apathy, self worth, hatred, disempowerment, disrespect, and responsibility towards oneself and others, and also helps in developing loving communication in relationships.

It’s a doorway for us to begin to alchemise the things that are out of alignment.

As you allow the Rose to work on the emotional body, it will allow attunement of the mental body to feel safe to express in truth.

Spiritual Body:

The Rose lifts the soul and spirit into beauty.

The meaning of beauty is knowing that all life is sacred, that all experiences are valid, to be in the heart at all times and in all situations, and to feel the truth of creation.

The Rose supports us with the loss of our spiritual connection by returning us to our innate soul essence and purpose. She helps give us guidance on our evolving journey of life.

Physical Body:

The Rose creates an organic movement of chi (life force) in the body. This means movement into the organs, muscles and the spaces in our body where we are ‘holding’ (like the gut and the womb), so any stuckness and stagnancy can begin to release.

This also brings about release on the emotional, mental and spiritual bodies.

The main meridian that the Rose activates is the liver meridian channel which is responsible for how we handle stress. Rose also works on the spleen meridian channel, alleviating digestive symptoms. She harmonises the relationship between the liver and spleen meridian channels, so symptoms of stress affecting digestion will be lessened.

So just by drinking Rose tea, on a physical level we are inviting in a natural movement of surrender, a natural movement of letting go and release, which in turn supports our emotions, our mentality and our spiritual being.

The Rose is a pathway to our own Sovereignty. She heals on a subtle level, but her medicine is powerful. She holds the archetype of the Goddess – fierce, powerful, strong, yet gentle and loving.

I offer a Rose Immersion Journey where we work with the medicine and magick of the Rose, and the archetypes, consciousness and healing aspects of various rose tones to re-calibrates our Divine template into remembrance of our innate power and gifts.

There is also the 1-on-1 in-person Rose frequency therapy sessions which supports and balances our whole energy system. This session can be booked in advance and also forms part of my Inner Alchemy individual retreats that I offer here in the beautiful Cederberg.

I also work with Rose medicine in my mentoring services, together with your Energetic Blueprint.
