The challenge of this time is that it would be very easy to turn away. To scroll past the suffering. To pretend we do not see. To protect ourselves from discomfort by looking elsewhere. Although sometimes it’s needed to do this… that’s why discernment is such an important quality to cultivate.
But the deeper evolutionary invitation is to stay present.
To witness what is unfolding in our world without losing our humanity.
Presence does not mean absorbing every ounce of pain. It means refusing to fall asleep. It means allowing what we see to shape us into more conscious, compassionate beings.
The capacity to hold more
Evolution is not comfortable. It asks us to release old identities. To unlearn beliefs we once held tightly. To question systems that once felt stable.
This is why evolution often feels like a kind of death. The death of old versions of ourselves. The death of ideas that once defined who we thought we were.
And yet this death is not destruction. It is transformation.
