Did you know that we have a way we operate in this life, a theme that we play out always, and have been playing out our whole lives? In this post I share about the archetype of our personality, this way of BEing that has always been part of us and will always be, and by living this part of our design (blueprint) we activate our natural gifts to come forth.
It’s almost like the ‘flavour’ of us…
So what is this aspect?
This is our profile in our Human Design chart, and it will be one of the following consisting of two numbers:
1/3, 1/4, 2/4, 2/5, 3/5, 3/6, 4/1, 4/6, 5/1, 5/2, 6/2, 6/3

Something to keep in mind here; Human Design and Gene Keys are NOT personality tests or systems, they are transformational modalities that are calculated based on our birth details, so they show us our innate blueprint, energetics, natural gifts and deeper consciousness. Your personality from a personality test is who you think you are (your mind), whereas your blueprint is how you’re moving through the world (your body a.k.a. your vehicle).
Therefore the profiles that we’ll discuss here is the archetype of our personality; an innate and natural way we are moving through the world which helps us to unlock our true potential and gifts we are here to bring to this world.
Once we illuminate these aspects of ourselves, and understand them better, we bring healing and de-conditioning to our systems, because awareness is a great healer. Once you know yourself more deeply, you heal. This also brings healing to those around us, because we become more compassionate towards everyone else.

As seen above the profile of this chart (which is actually mine) is 1/3.
The first number (the 1 in this case) is on the conscious side: a very conscious energy in our lives, our very visible gifts and way of operating. Our way of DOING life.
The second number (the 3 in this case) is on the unconscious side: our invisible (or hidden) gifts and energy – these might be very visible to those around us, but not so much to ourselves. Our way of BEING in life.
Let’s see all the gifts of the profile numbers
Below are the gifts of the profile numbers (also called lines), and you can therefore read both your two numbers and that will give you a deeper awareness of who you are, and how you are uniquely operating in this world – your ‘flavour’.
If you live according to these, you also awaken latent potential and magick in your life. It’s a very magickal part of your blueprint, an aspect that is also central to your Gene Keys chart and when you do an Inner Alchemy Journey we go deeply into them and these aspects bring very deep insight into our patterns, conditioning, and also activating and unlocking our essence, innate gifts and beauty.
Line 1: investigator, researcher, creator
- Curious by nature
- Requires a foundation of information to feel safe and secure
- Before making changes, you need to investigate and learn everything about what you’re about to do
- Part of your life path is to share what you know with others
- Creative, and always busy with creating something new
As a profile line 1 remember:
- You are meant to follow your curiosity and dive deep into the topics that interests you
- You will never know everything, but that doesn’t mean you don’t know enough to succeed
- Knowledge is your true north, the more you know, the less you fear
Your confidence is found within. Stop taking a million courses hoping it will give you more confidence. Feel and release the fear of inadequacy so you can boldly share your talents and knowledge with those who need it. While you will always enjoy learning more, know that you know enough already and it’s time to share it.
Line 2: hermit, intuitive, introvert
- Crave alone time
- Need time alone at times to recharge
- The more you hermit, the more you are seen by others. (It’s like an energy vortex that draws others to you when you do this)
- Can be shy, needs to be recognised to enter into relationships
- Naturally intuitive
As a profile line 2 remember:
- Embrace your desire for alone time, as hat is what you need to cultivate your gifts
- Ask a good friend or close family member what they think you are naturally good at, if you’re struggling to see it yourself
- Solitude is necessary to recharge your batteries, but be cautious of becoming ONLY a hermit
Stop making it hard for yourself, when you can take the easy path, because you know the easy path already. Stop thinking what comes easy for you also comes easy for others, or just because you know something everyone knows it, this is not the case. It’s easy for you, you know it, so share it and be a gift to others.
Line 3: martyr, adventurer, changer
- Learns by experiencing and experimenting
- Here to share what works and what doesn’t work, based on your own experiences
- Everything you have ever tried that didn’t work was part of your journey to mastery and wisdom
- Your ‘mistakes’ are part of the process to find the best way to share your wisdom
- Loves adventure
- You know when things need to change
As a profile line 3 remember:
- You tend to ‘learn the hard way’ because you are meant to experience all of life yourself
- If you can get comfortable by making mistakes you overcome one of your greatest challenges
- Know that you inspire others by simply doing things your own way
Embrace your nature of change, stop suppressing you natural sense of humour and childlike nature because you’re an adult now and everyone (and everything) is so serious. Go have fun and show others how to do the same.
Line 4: opportunist, networker, outgoing
- Relationships are very important to you
- Your greatest opportunities in life come from your network of friends
- You care very deeply, and being of service is important to you
- Foundations are important to you, you. move from foundation to foundation needing to be prepared for the next thing
- Loves to be social and meeting new people
As a profile line 4 remember:
- Embrace your natural ability to form connections, because this will bring you more opportunities than you can imagine
- When it comes to friendships, quality is more important than quantity
- Notice who you feel you can be your authentic true self with, and nurture these connections
You have a big heart, but this doesn’t mean you have to be nice to everyone so that they like you. Face and feel the fear of rejection and stop people pleasing and choose yourself. You can be selective, those that are meant for you will be there no matter what.
Line 5: heretic, helper, protagonist
- A great influencer and you can influence a great number of people over your lifetime
- You are a mirror for others, helping them towards healing and alignment
- You have a projection field around you, so how you appear to others is a projection of their consciousness and what they need to work on to heal
- Empowering and transformative
- Practical (likes fixing things – finding practical ways to better a system)
As a profile line 5 remember:
- You are designed to see things in a different way from everyone else
- It’s important to set boundaries with people so they don’t project their expectations on you
- You have a natural desire and gift for helping people, but it doesn’t mean you are everyone’s saviour
Stop fixing everyone else’s problems and take care of yourself and your own stuff first. Face and feel the guilt that comes up when you do this, so that you can release it and set good and healthy boundaries. Share your practical solutions and let people fix their own things, you are actually teaching them a necessary life skill – self responsibility.
Line 6: role model, sage, mentor
- You inspire others as a role model
- You may feel very clear about your purpose
- First phase (up until around age 30) your life is all about experiening and experimenting (much like the line 3)
- Second phase (time between age 30-50) is about healing and observation of others
- Third phase (around age 50) you step into the energy of the role model
- Natural teacher
As a profile line 6 remember:
- Know that you are viewed as an authority figure, which makes you have a great impact on others
- You continuously grow wiser with age as you integrate your lessons and life experiences
- Don’t be afraid to experiment in your first 30 years of life, that is how you gain wisdom
Patience is your best friend. The less you chase, and the more you are BEing, the sooner what you desire, comes. Never underestimate how wise you are from all your experiences. Sooner or later you are going to teach others how they can do themselves what you embody.
